Cost: $220 for up to 10 participants; $16 for each additional participant

Cost: $300 for up to 10 participants; $24 for each additional participant

The Dyno - for ages 6 and 7

Cost: $220 for up to 12 participants

The Himalaya - for Ages 6 and up

Cost: $135 for up to 6 participants

Rock Climbing Group Events

School field trips, church groups, corporate events, singles groups, whatever your group or outing, New Jersey Rock Gym has the staff and the facility to make it exciting and highly memorable.

Prices are valid for groups with reservations and deposits; 10 person minimum for discount rates.

Rate Options:
1 1/2 hours ($20 per participant)
2 hours ($24 per participant)

Highly discounted rates for groups that supply their own belayers or groups of 20 or more in the summer months.

Climb On Safely

for Leaders of Boy Scouts

- 40 minute program conducted at your location or the New Jersey Rock Gym.
- Program is designed to help adult leaders organize a climbing and rappelling   program for their unit.
- $25 fee for program conducted at your location or complimentary if using our   location.

Introduction to Rock Climbing

for cub scouts, boy scouts, venturing, brownies, juniors, ambassadors, juliettes and seniors; 10 scout minimum

Rate Options:
1 1/2 hours ($18 per participant)
2 hours ($22 per participant)
3 hours ($30 per participant)

This package includes:
- 1.5 hrs of instruction and climbing
- scouts will learn climbing commands, safety rules, top rope climbing
  and bouldering in a fun and safe environment

Merit Badge Program - for boy scouts ages 13 and up

Cost: $60 per scout; 4 scout minimum

This package includes:
- Our 6 hour course is completed in 3 sessions.
- Certified Merit Badge Counselors on staff who teach the course and will sign off   on the merit badge card.
- Will allow scouts to safely learn all the essential elements of climbing as   described in the B.S.A. Handbook
- All necessary equipment

Ranger Award-Mountaineering

for Venturing Crews

Cost: $60 per scout; 4 scout minimum

This package includes:
- Our 6 hour course is completed in 3 sessions and covers all the requirements in   the official Venturing Handbook
- All necessary equipment

Lock-in Program/Overnight

for all scouts

Cost: $28 per scout; 20 scout minimum

This package includes:
- 4.5 hrs climbing program and will learn climbing commands, safety rules, top rope climbing, bouldering, and rappelling
- Supply you own belayers and chaperones
- Available on Saturday evenings only

Belay Certification Class for Scout Leaders

This program includes:
- 2 hour program (one visit) includes belay technique, knot tying, top roping, safety   rules and verbal commands
- class will prepare you to belay for your troop for the Lock-in program or utilize our   highly discounted rates for reserved open climbing
- $35 per leader, minimum of 3 for a privately scheduled class or you can join one   of our six weekly belay certification classes

Adventure Sports Badge - for Juniors

Cost: $32 per scout; 4 scout minimum

This package includes:
- 2.5 hrs of instruction and climbing
- scouts will learn climbing commands, climbing stretches, climbing knots,
 climbing equipment usage, top rope climbing, bouldering, and traversing,
- scouts will receive materials to compile a scrapbook.

High Adventure Interest Patch - for Ambassadors, Juliettes and Seniors

Cost: $32 per scout; 4 scout minimum

This package includes:
- 2.5 hrs of instruction and climbing
- scouts will learn climbing commands, climbing stretches, climbing knots,
  climbing equipment usage, top rope climbing, bouldering, traversing, and
  rappelling
